Overnight Stay
Spa & rooms could definitely do with an upgrade. Would have liked a kettle with tea/coffee in the room. However didn’t affect our stay as we were just looking for a relaxing, quiet night away & a nice meal & thats what we got. Shoutout to Laura on reception who was extremely welcoming, helpful & friendly. Also the restaurant team we dealt with Ellie, Harvey & Craig were fab & for how lovely all the staff were im giving 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overnight stay.
The bar, restaurant and staff were fantastic during our staff. The food and service was great. Laura greeted us at reception at she was so friendly. Ellie, Harvey and Craig were in the bar and restaurant and couldn’t do enough for us. The spa was okay and rooms met our needs but I would say they are pretty dated and spa could do with an upgrade.
This girl will go far-such an asset to Westerwood
Visited with my daughter for belated birthday treat, Millie was our server and nothing was too much trouble, my daughter had been unwell a few days before our visit.Millie made sure she was looked after and found her a more suitable menu to choose from.Although it was extremely busy and very short staffed Millie was more than capable of working the floor and guiding newer members of staff how to deal with bookings etc.She still found tume to check we were ok and realised she wasnt finishing til 9pm but took it all in her stride
Food was great and very polite service
Great service from Millie / Alexander / Sean
Short business trip
Nice stay sofar in The Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld near Glasgow. Had a nice dinner with very good service from Millie and Murray, keep up the good work
Great location
Very comfortable room and excellent facilities. Nice selection of food/ menu choices. Staff very pleasant and helpful
Top Notch!
As part of a large conference, I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The bedroom was well catered for, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always accommodating. I was especially blown away by the standard of the food, especially given the number they were catering for on both evenings for the conference. Top Notch! I would certainly stay here again and would love to bring my family here so that we can enjoy the facilities and pool area.
Very good massage.
Had a neck & shoulders massage. Elena was very profesional. Feel complety relax during and after the massage.
Happy overall
Happy overall with our stay. Please include firmer pillows in your rooms. Even the spares in the wardrobe were really soft. Food was fine and Spa was great.
Outstanding Stay
I was there for a conference. Every aspect of the stay was perfect. My room was lovely, comfortable and had everything I needed for my three night stay. The food was perfect and the staff attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. An excellent hotel which I would highly recommend.
Amazing food and service
Murray and Emilia were excellent. Great service lovely and friendly. Thank you for a super evening.
Two night break with husband and in-laws. Absolutely recommend this hotel.
Excellent two night stay with my husband and his disabled elderly parents. From the moment we arrived till we checked out, we felt welcomed and relaxed. Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My in-laws stayed in an adaptive twin bedded room, which was ideal for them. My husband and I stayed in a regular twin bedroom. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate, which was very good. The choice of meals was from the regular menu. Each person had a £35 dinner allowance for food per person per night. There was a good choice of meals. I have coeliac disease. The restaurant are very allergen and coeliac aware. I had absolutely no problem whatsoever. All the staff were kind and helpful. The only thing I would suggest to the hotel is that it would be lovely if the dinner menu could include some sort of an interesting large mixed salad as a healthy dinner main course option. Housekeeping were very helpful and kind to my in-laws. My husband and I used the pool, sauna, steam room and gym. The facilities were clean and well kept. All staff were friendly and helpful. It made a difference to our stay. Many thanks for a wonderful stay. We will return.
Conference Capability excellent.
Comfortable, friendly hotel. Attended a conference there. Food excellent. Staff competent and communicative. Facilities for room division excellent. Rooms a bit tired - could do with refurbishing. That would be the only comment.
Spa break - 1 night
We started off with a massage at the spa which was really good, the relaxation room is so peaceful and welcoming we really enjoyed that. Afterwards we spent a couple hours using the leisure facilities. We had a lovely lunch and glass of Prosecco in the grill restaurant (part of the package). The service was good and food was lovely. We have our evening meal in Flemings restaurant and that was lovely, can’t fault that. The service by Alexander and Sean was fantastic also. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable the only downside to the room is no slippers which would be a nice touch and it’s not a smart television to be able to stream a movie. It does have free view but we were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t relax and watch a movie of our choice. Overall we have had a lovely stay and would definitely come back. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice relaxing overnight stay.
Lovely hotel, easy to get to location wise. Staff are attentive friendly and efficient. A very enjoyable experience
Lovely hotel, with very friendly attentive staff. The hotel is comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean. The bar and restaurant are well run and efficient, the food was good sized portions and tasty. I did not experience the golf course as I was staying there for a writing conference. The gym is modern with a good amount of of equipment and the pool is a nice way to relax after a long day. I did not use the spa facilities.
A+ Rated Hotel
Location was absolutely amazing, feel like you're in the country but not far from Glasgow city. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful all the time. Room was everything you need and more. Great views, comfortable, extra pillows and great size bed. Hotel very clean. Breakfast was amazing, more than enough food and choice available. Couldn't complain at all, highly recommended!!
Event
Attending an event being held at the location it made sense to stay, first time at this hotel and I was most impressed.Staff were great, professional and very helpful, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable if not a fare distance from the main lobby which wasn't an issue considering how busy it was. Evening meal was tasty and just right after a long day with not to long to wait. Location was also ideal not only if you were travelling on but also if visiting locally both Glasgow and farther afield. In all a great first stay and will likely be returning.
